Simon Whiteman

A 5-foot-10, 165-pound righthanded hitter, Whiteman is a utility type who can play all over the diamond, whose plus running ability is his biggest tool. He used that speed to steal 34 bases in 34 attempts this spring and has gone 71-for-81 (87.7 percent) over his four-year career in the Ivy League. He's a scrappy player with a short, punchy swing with limited power who projects more as an organizational sort of player, but his speed gives him a tool to work with to perhaps tap into more.
