Tevin Mitchell

Mitchell helped UC Santa Barbara win its first conference title since 1986 this spring as an athletic, versatile defender who could play multiple positions. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Mitchell is a capable defender at left field and second base and is also experienced at third base. He has some pullside whip in his barrel, but he overall lacks physicality as a hitter. Mitchell’s athleticism is his best trait and makes him a draft option as a senior sign. Both of his parents ran track at Kansas.
