An Oregon recruit, McCullough is undersized and scrappy at 5-foot-8, 175 pounds. He's also 100 percent ballplayer and was a steady producer for USA Baseball's gold-medal 18U national team last summer. He's a lefthanded hitter with a line-drive bat who plays with energy. He has excellent hands that play on both sides of the ball. His lack of power or burner speed makes college the better fit for him in the near-term.
