Bryant opened eyes early on the summer showcase circuit, showing plus arm speed and life on his fastball, which reached 94 and sat at 90-92. He struggled to spin his breaking ball and he often rushed his delivery, but Bryant's arm speed and the movement on his fastball pointed to a bright future, with some evaluators seeing a young Armando Benitez in him. Tendonitis and arm soreness sidelined him this spring, but he's committed to Mississippi State and could be a nice get for the Bulldogs.
