Tejada is extremely skinny and small in stature, although he has a quick arm and a fastball that sits 86-90 mph. He consistently throws strikes from a low, three-quarters arm slot with an intriguing slider that could become an above-average pitch in the future. Scouts are hoping he hits a growth spurt and fills out his frame in order to project much further on the young New York righthander.
