After battling injuries throughout his first three years at St. John’s, Magee stayed healthy in 2018 and had a highly productive senior season. He finished this spring 7-3, 2.67 with 92 strikeouts and only 15 walks in 77.2 innings. The lefthander started 14 games for the Red Storm, pitching mostly 86-89 mph with his fastball. His best offspeed offering is his changeup, but he also has an average breaking ball and can consistently throw strikes with all three pitches.
