Shetter was one of several Red Raiders pitchers whose role changed during the season as the team tried to adjust to the lost of ace Steven Gingery. Splitting time between the bullpen and the rotation, Shetter is a pitcher with a pair of average pitches–an 87-93 mph fastball and an average slider. Those pitches and his below-average changeup all play up a little bit because he locates them well. Shetter was 5-0, 2.97 with 69 strikeouts and 26 walks in 63.2 innings.
