Henri Lartigue

Lartigue converted to catching at Ole Miss and became the regular catcher as a junior, where his athleticism and improved bat put him in consideration for the first 10 rounds. He's still growing defensively, where he has agility and plus arm strength but an inconsistent transfer and below-average receiving ability. He had allowed 10 passed balls and thrown out just 25 percent of basestealers heading into regional play. A switch-hitter, the 6-foot, 205-pound Lartigue has a much better swing from the left side with some gap power, with more swing-and-miss from the right.
