JUNIOR COLLEGE: Top 50 Prospects

Major league teams have until May 27--one week before this year's draft--to sign the current crop of draft-and-follow players. Only those junior college players who were drafted last June are permitted to sign. They are eligible to sign upon the completion of their junior-college saeson.

Lefthanders Adam Loewen and Nick Markakis are the two most significant draft-and-follows this year, and both are expected to be first-round picks if they are not signed by the Orioles and Reds, respectively, by the closed period.
