From a prospect perspective, the Southern team is much more intriguing than the Northern. The South has Heyward, Freeman, Chacin, Bumgarner, Montero, Cobb and Doubront. Plenty of names to watch there.

Not surprisingly, Asheville will have the most representatives of any team, with seven players headed to Greensboro as well as their manager, Joe Mikulik, who will be in charge of the South’s squad. The Tourists have the SAL’s best record at 40-17.
