Position-by-Position Rankings: Second Basemen (VIDEO)

This issue celebrates Baseball America's 25th Top 100 Prospects list, and we just published our 14th Prospect Handbook with 900 scouting reports. Ranking players is our business as well as our hobby, though, so we just can't stop ourselves. Here's a look at how prospects rank by position, covering 300 of the best prospects in the game.

Over the past century, second and third base have switched back and forth over which requires more offensively. Now we're in an era where they both are expected to hit. This group of second basemen fits that need, as there are a significant number of prospects, led by Rougned Odor, Kolten Wong and Mookie Betts who will not have to be stuck at the bottom of the lineup.
