Harvey, Crawford, Judge Highlight South Atlantic League All-Star Rosters (VIDEO)

The South Atlantic League released the complete rosters for its all-star game Tuesday, and the rosters were predictably dotted with prospects.

The top vote-getter was Lakewood shortstop J.P. Crawford, who ranked as the No. 3 prospect in the Phillies’ system before the season and who has set the SAL on fire with both his bat and glove. Through Monday, the 19-year-old Californian was hitting .320/.417/.453 with 15 doubles, three home runs 17 RBIs and nine stolen bases. He’s also played stellar defense. He’ll be joined on the roster by, among others, West Virginia catcher Reese McGuire, whom we highlighed in this Scout’s Video View earlier this year. He’s hitting .283/.342/.324 this season with four doubles and 17 RBIs, but has thrown out a stellar 49 percent of attempted base stealers.

On the hill, the Northern staff is fronted by Hunter Harvey, the Orioles’ No. 3 prospect, who has 64 strikeouts in 53 2/3 innings. The strikeout total is second in the SAL to Greensboro’s Matt Milroy, who also made the team. Milroy, the Marlins’ 11th-rounder in 2012, has 73 Ks in 53 1/3 innings.

The Southern Division team is topped by Yankees prospect Aaron Judge, who has bashed his way through the league over the first two months. Judge, a first-rounder last year, is hitting .321/.416/.515 with 10 doubles, eight home runs (including one in each of the last three games) and 35 RBIs. We shot video of one of his longballs earlier this season. Judge is joined by, among others, a pair of Rockies prospects in Asheville teammates David Dahl and Ryan McMahon.

McMahon, the owner of one of the hottest starts in the minors this season, has cooled considerably but is still hitting an impressive .269/.353/.544 with 21 doubles and 10 longballs. Dahl, who missed most of last season with a suspension and a hamstring tear, has a similarly impressive .272/.317/.507 with 13 doubles, nine homers and 11 stolen bases.

On the mound, the Southern squad is led by Augusta’s Luis Ysla. The Giants’ lefty has held hitters to a .208 average over his first nine starts and has let up just 31 hits in 42 innings.

The game will be played on June 17 at Hickory’s L.P. Frans Stadium.
