Although Kenny Wilson had a scholarship to play at Florida, the center fielder had no hesitation in signing with the Blue Jays after they took him in the second round of this year's draft. "It's all but a done deal," he said on draft day, adding he was satisfied with slot bonus money. True to his word, Wilson was in the first batch of signings released by the club, a list that also included California first baseman David Cooper, the club's first-round pick.
