In Baseball America’s new Midseason Prospect Update, righthander Dylan Bundy continues his residence atop the Orioles prospect list. He has ranked as the organization’s top prospect essentially ever since Baltimore made him the fourth overall pick in the 2011 draft coming out of  high school in Oklahoma.

He missed the entire 2013 season following Tommy John surgery, and the Orioles have carefully worked him back into action this year, not using him in game action until June. He has pitched a total of 27 innings between short-season Aberdeen and high Class A Frederick, and he has been hit hard in his three Carolina League starts, compiling a 9.26 ERA.
