Eric Duncan's career has stalled in Triple-A
The 2003 draft gave us top-flight players like Nick Markakis, Aaron Hill, Chad Billingsley and Carlos Quentin. But starting at the top with Delmon Young and Rickie Weeks, that draft is perhaps better known for its (as-of-yet) unfulfilled potential. Six full seasons later, we see a handful of organizations sever ties with their first-round picks by letting them walk as minor league free agents. That list includes the Royals' Chris Lubanski (fifth overall), the Twins' Matt Moses (21st) and the Yankees' Eric Duncan (27th). The full roster of minor league free agents includes 536 players.
