Here's how Baseball America's Dream Draft broke down, both pick by pick and team by team. Remember that the entire player universe was available, and each staff member's only charge was to take what he deemed the best 10 players available, regardless of position. As with any BA project, we did it with an eye to the future.

Each participant was also asked to analyze the draft. In the round by round picks, staffers wrote about their thoughts as they made each of their picks. For the team by team, we took a broader look at our own drafts as well as everyone else's. (Numbers in parentheses are players' ages as of April 1.)

We'd like your opinions as well. Read up on our analysis, then do your own and cast your ballot for the person who you thought had the best draft.

12.	Alan Matthews	Vladimir Guerrero, of	His health is a question, but he offered the best combination of tools and proven track record on the board.
13.	Will Lingo	Jake Peavy, rhp	Among top starters, only Dontrelle Willis and Carlos Zambrano are as young, and I like Peavy's upside more.
14.	Chris Kline	Ryan Zimmerman, 3b	A little high, but there's no way he would have lasted another round with Fitt picking twice ahead of me.
15.	John Manuel	Grady Sizemore, of	Best young outfielder on the board with four plus tools. Who cares if he can't throw?
16.	Matt Meyers	Jason Bay, of	Like Brian Giles, the man he was traded for, he is another star toiling in anonymity in Pittsburgh.
17.	Will Kimmey	Dontrelle Wills, lhp	He's a horse, he strikes people out, he's 24 and he can swing it a little, too. A close call over Rich Harden.
18.	Alan Schwarz	Carlos Zambrano, rhp	He has some of the nastiest sinking stuff in the majors. I love having this guy's age 25-30 seasons.
19.	Aaron Fitt	Josh Beckett, rhp	Health remains a question mark, but his youth, track record and stuff should make him a bona fide ace.
20.	J.J. Cooper	B.J. Upton, ss	Believe he can stay at shortstop, and produce with an outfield-quality bat . . . and he's still just 21.
