DeMarini Sports—the world-leader in bat technology—has launched a two-barreled approach to satisfying college baseball's top hitters. Rather than following a one-bat-fits-all philosophy, DeMarini has released a pair of top-tier bats, each of which accentuates a different hitting style. New for 2006, the DeMarini Voodoo emphasizes power with an SC•3 Structure Control Alloy barrel, while the updated 2006 DeMarini Vexxum employs a DX•1 Alloy barrel for better balance and more aggressive bat speed. Both bats are available now at select sporting goods dealers nationwide and through the Wilson-DeMarini Team Purchase Program.
The Voodoo and Vexxum are currently being used by 90-plus college programs including Arizona State, New Mexico State, Lamar and Winthrop. Both bats are built with DeMarini's Half & Half technology, a proprietary, two-piece system that flexes and recoils with a burst of ball-launching energy.
