PrintDURHAM, N.C.--Vanderbilt held onto the No. 1 spot in Baseball America's Top 25 rankings, as it swept Louisiana State to clinch its first ever Southeastern Conference regular-season championship. The Commodores have ranked No. 1 since April 2nd.

Also moving up, No. 16 UC Riverside swept Long Beach State to take over first place in the Big West. The Highlanders have won 14 of their last 15 games. The Dirtbags fell to No. 22.
Oregon State was the lone team to drop out of the rankings. The Beavers had been inside the Top 25 since the start of the season but have lost three straight Pacific-10 Conference series. Creighton replaced Oregon State. The Bluejays finished second in the Missouri Valley Conference--behind Wichita State.
