DURHAM, N.C.--Continuing its winning ways with a sweep over Florida last weekend, Vanderbilt holds onto the No. 1 spot in Baseball America's Top 25 college rankings. The Commodores are 9-1 in weekend play and have won seven games in a row.

San Diego shot up eight spots to No. 9 by taking both of its games against No. 17 Pepperdine. On the other end of the spectrum, Cal State Fullerton dropped out of the rankings after being swept by UC Riverside, which in turn enters at No. 25.

Texas Christian and Long Beach State also moved into the rankings. Coming off a 4-0 weekend and key sweep of Mountain West Conference foe San Diego State, the Horned Frogs have not lost a weekend series to date (10-0). The Dirtbags, who swept Pacific and are tied for first in the Big West, have played 22 games against Top 25 opponents, eight more than any other team in the nation.
