DURHAM, N.C.--Butting heads with South Carolina, Vanderbilt went on the road and took its series against the Gamecocks to reclaim the No. 1 spot in Baseball America's Top 25 rankings. Commodores' Fr. LHP Mike Minor, who was making the first weekend start of his career, struck out nine in 7.0 innings to pick up the win and clinch the series victory on Saturday.

Oregon State took the biggest tumble of any team in the top 10. Swept by Arizona on the road, the Beavers drop to No. 9 while the Wildcats enter the poll for the first time this season at No. 17. Arizona has lost just one series and is 5-3 against Top 25 teams.

Joining Arizona as a fresh face in the rankings, Tulane jumps in at No. 21. The Green Wave took two of three games against East Carolina in a Conference USA series, entering the Top 25 for the first time in six weeks.

San Diego and Long Beach State, which dropped its road series against No. 23 UC Irvine, both fall out of the rankings.
