The Show-Me State has a number of interesting pitching prospects this year, as Missouri lefthander Rob Zastryzny and prep righthanders Devin Williams and Jake Brentz all could go in the top three rounds. The state's position-player crop is fallow, however, with the most promising prospect hailing from Metropolitan CC-Longview, a Division II junior college that has had one player drafted in the last 29 years. After redshirting at NAIA Missouri Valley in 2012, Dulin had a huge season for the Vikings, ranking third among D-II juco players in homers (13) and slugging (.756). It's hard to know exactly what that means because Dulin hasn't faced strong competition and he employs a high leg kick that may not work against better pitching, but he passes the eye test. He's a 6-foot-3, 225-pounder with above-average lefthanded power. Primarily a first baseman, Dulin has enough athleticism, speed and arm strength to move to left field in pro ball.
