James Dougher

Control is Dougher's calling card, and he pitches from a good downhill plane thanks to his 6-foot-7 frame and over-the-top arm slot. His delivery isn't fluid, but he keeps the ball down and doesn't walk many. He pitches in the 86-88 mph range, touching 90-91 occasionally, and his 12-to-6 curveball is a decent offering. His slider and changeup are fringy at best. Dougher is a good athlete for his size, fields his position well and he has a good pickoff move.
