Street figures to become a fixture on future Australian World Baseball Classic teams. He came to the U.S. to play college baseball and walked on at New Mexico JC, where he lowered his arm slot from overhand to just above sidearm, and his career took off. Street was named the league pitcher of the year as a sophomore and earned a scholarship offer from UT Pan American, where he became the workhorse for two seasons. Street has thrown 19 complete games the last two years, leading the nation with 11 this year. He doesn't throw hard, sitting 83-86 mph from his low slot, but the pitch has sink and scouts give him plus command. He adds a frisbee slider and changeup has to be fine with all his pitches. His competitiveness and durability give him a chance as a future middle reliever.
