Chancellor is on his fourth college since graduating from high school in Texas, moving from Ranger (Texas) JC to Clarendon (Texas) JC to Wayland Baptist (Texas) to Lubbock Christian. He has pitched just 44 innings combined, as he didn't take the mound at Wayland Baptist and had to sit out this year after transferring from one NAIA program to another. Scouts did get looks at Chancellor during fall practice and in intrasquad games this spring, and his size (6-foot-5, 230 pounds) and fastball (up to 96 mph and featuring good life) should get him drafted for the first time in June. The rest of his game is under development, as his delivery is just OK and his secondary pitches are rudimentary.
