Anthony Telford

San Jose State’s Telford caught the attention of scouts early by taking the national lead in strikeouts with a number of 15- and 16-strikeout performances. He’s out of the mold of Florida State’s Richie Lewis in that he’s not especially big but, as one scout said, “he’s a real battler; he’s not afraid of anyone.”
