Another outfield talent better known in a second sport is Hyzdu of Cincinnati’s football factory, Moeller High. Hyzdu led Moeller to the state final last fall, passing for a title-game record 397 yards in a losing cause. A year ago, he hit 13 home runs to break Ken Griffey Jr.’s school record.
