Clark is loaded with more tools than a Home Depot. He's a plus-plus runner with plus raw power and an above-average arm as well. Clark has loads of bat speed, excellent athleticism and a chance to play up the middle, either at second base or center field. A transfer to Pearl River after a year at Southeast Louisiana, Clark primarily played shortstop this year but that's not his long-term home. He probably fits best in center field where he finished the season and showed above-average range. At the plate, there's a lot of swing-and-miss in Clark's approach right now, in part because he has a leg kick that sometimes messes with his balance and timing, but he has plenty of bat speed, a compact stroke and loads of power--he hit 11 home runs, slugged .618 and stole 24 bases in 29 attempts. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has signed with Alabama, and he could go much better in the draft next year with a strong season in the Southeastern Conference, but his power/speed combination could entice a team to take him in the fourth-to-sixth round this year.
