J.T. Stotts, ss
Cal State Northridge

Stotts may be the best pure shortstop in the state. He's shorter (6 feet) and quicker than Crosby, who received more attention, and has outhit Crosby by a considerable margin throughout his career. He batted .409 this spring, the second time in three seasons he eclipsed the .400 mark. Crosby has better raw power while Stotts, the leading basestealer in Cal State Northridge history, is the faster runner.
