Scouting Director: Mike Radcliff (first year: 1994)
Order in 2007 Rotation: 28th

Trend: Simply put, the Twins take players their scouts like. Mike Radcliff is the game's longest-tenured scouting director, and the Twins trust their scouts and crosscheckers. They draft college players and high schoolers from any part of North America, and seem to have put their reputation for not signing first-rounders behind them.
This Year's Outlook: The Twins' love of prep athletes could lead them to take someone who's not a consensus first-rounder. General manager Terry Ryan, a former Twins scouting director himself, lets Radcliff do his job and sign who he wants to sign, and the results have been quite good.
