High school players that went unsigned in 1998 are the cornerstone of this year's college draft crop. Some of the highest unsigned picks are still among the most attractive prospects three years later; some players have fallen by the wayside.

Here's a list of the top 25 picks from 1998 who remain unsigned. An asterisk indicates the player projects in the first five rounds of this year's draft:
