Where The Top 100 Prospects Are

Here is a look at where the 2010 Baseball America Top 100 Prospects are beginning the 2010 season. The assignments are gathered from the rosters submitted by teams to Major League Baseball Advanced Media and as such are tentative until the games begin on Thursday night.

For the injured players, here is a little more information:

Desmond Jennings (Rays) has a wrist injury that shouldn't keep him out for long. He is expected to join the Triple-A Durham Bulls.

Ryan Westmoreland (Red Sox) is recovering from brain surgery and there is no publicized timetable for his return.

Jarrod Parker (Diamondbacks) is recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Donavan Tate (Padres) injured his shoulder during spring training.

Jared MItchell (White Sox) will miss the 2010 season with an ankle injury.

Jason Knapp (Indians) is expected to miss the start of the season as he recovers from shoulder surgery. He is expected to head to high Class A Kinston when healthy.

Mike Moustakas (Royals) is recovering from a strained oblique muscle. He will join Double-A Northwest Arkansas when healthy.

Jaff Decker (Padres) was held back in extended spring training to finish recovering from a strained hamstring. He'll head to high Class A Lake Elsinore when healthy.
