Scruggs, taken in the 19th round out of UNLV, was 0-4 with four strikeouts in his professional debut…Toronto first -ound pick David Cooper made his debut for Auburn on Tuesday, going 1-3 with a RBI and a walk…The Pirates 2007 fourth-rounder Quincy Latimore made his short-season debut on Tuesday, going 2-4 with a pair of runs in State College’s 7-6 loss…Mahoning played Lonnie Chisenhall (Indians) at shortstop in his professional debut and he delivered solid defense along with a sparkling offensive performance. The Indians’ first-round pick went 2-5 with a double and three runs scored.
