Position-by-Position Rankings: Center Fielders (VIDEO)

This issue celebrates Baseball America’s 25th Top 100 Prospects list, and we just published our 14th Prospect Handbook with 900 scouting reports. Ranking players is our business as well as our hobby, though, so we just can’t stop ourselves. Here’s a look at how prospects rank by position, covering 300 of the best prospects in the game.

If shortstop is the most stacked position in baseball right now, center field is pretty loaded as well. Byron Buxton is baseball’s best prospect. George Springer is a future 30-30 possibility and Gregory Polanco should give the Pirates a third center fielder in what should be a great defensive outfield.
