Rome (Braves) first baseman Freddy Freeman went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Asheville (Rockies) … Greenville (Red Sox) center fielder Ryan Kalish went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in the Drive’s 7-5 win over Columbus (Rays) … Lexington (Astros) catcher Max Sapp went 3-for-4 with a double against Kannapolis (White Sox).

What To Watch For Today

Lake County (Indians) lefthander Kelvin De La Cruz (4-2, 1.57) ranks second in the SAL in ERA  behind teammate Ryan Miller. De La Cruz takes on Lakewood (Phillies) tonight at 7:05 EDT.

Wisconsin (Mariners) righthander Phillippe Aumont evened his record at 3-3 after pitching five shutout innings, allowing three hits and two walks to go with six strikeouts against Kane County (Athletics).

Dayton (Reds) catcher Devin Mesoraco went 3-for-4 with a run scored in the Dragons’ 8-3 loss to Fort Wayne (Padres) … Cedar Rapids (Angels) righthander Jordan Walden struggled through five innings, allowing five runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts against Peoria (Cubs). He took the loss, dropping his record to 2-5.
