Below is a listing of every minor league team’s affiliation status heading into the period when major and minor league teams can hook up with new partners, which begins Sept. 16.

The listing “current contract expiring” does not necessarily mean the existing affiliation will end; in fact, many of these major and minor league teams expect to extend their player-development contracts. It simply means the contract expired at the end of the minor league season and has not yet been renewed.

Baseball America will continue to update this information as renewals are announced. Major and minor league teams have until Sept. 11 to notify their central offices that they will seek new affiliations. They will then find out which teams are available and will have from Sept. 16-30 to sign new player-development contracts.
