White Sox Organization Report

Most observers considered Kyle McCulloch a safe pick when the White Sox took him with the 29th pick overall in this year’s draft. He has pitched like one in his transition as a professional. McCulloch, who went 27-11 in his three seasons at Texas, signed for a $1.05 million bonus with the defending World Series champions quickly enough to get a significant workload. He opened at Rookie-level Great Falls before being promoted to the high Class A Carolina League.
