Larry Millson -Premium Content

Lefthander Ricky Romero, the first pitcher taken in the 2005 draft, got a lot done in a limited time during his first full professional season last year. He went 2-3, 2.75 in the final month of the season to put a better spin on his 2-7, 5.08 numbers in 67 innings at Double-A New Hampshire. Now he appears on track to take a shot at the major league rotation by 2008.
