The sixth inning was a mirage for righthander Greg Reynolds last year, which made the seventh, eighth and ninth unfathomable. It was five innings or 75 pitches at high Class A Modesto for Reynolds, who knew the Rockies were concerned about his workload at Stanford before taking him second overall in the draft.
