Red Sox Add Power-Armed Harden To Rotation Mix

The Deal
Athletics righthander Rich Harden returned from the disabled list on July 1 and had five starts to prove himself as a viable trade target. He showed good enough to pique the interest of the Red Sox, who traded Triple-A first baseman Lars Anderson and a player to be named to Oakland for Harden.
