Mike Trout Can Really Jump (VIDEO)

Mike Trout is an amazing athlete. You knew that.

He’s been described as Brian Urlacher in cleats. He was named the Baseball America’s Best Athlete in the Angels’ farm system every single year he was in the minor leagues. He’s a hitter with 30 home run power who also happens to be one of the fastest players in baseball with true 80 speed (on the 20-to-80 scouting scale).

He’s also Baseball America’s Back-To-Back 2012 and 2013 Major League Player of the Year, the 2012 Rookie of the Year and the 2011 Minor League Player of the Year.

But Trout has just posted to Instagram a further example of his off-the-charts athleticism as he does a standing jump onto a table that appears to be set up at shoulder height. Admittedly, the quality of the video is less the ideal, but it’s worth the watch.

Enjoy.
