In Baseball America’s new Midseason Prospect Update, righthander Luis Severino takes the top spot in the Yankees organization, up from the No. 9 spot coming into the season. Severino started the 2014 season in low Class A, but after posting a 2.74 ERA in 14 starts earned the promotion to high Class A Tampa. Though he hasn’t been there long, the Florida State League has not seemed to overwhelm him. In four starts he has a K/9 rate of 12.19 and a WHIP of 0.82.
