In Baseball America’s new Midseason Prospect Update, shortstop Tim Anderson, who started the season as the White Sox No. 3 prospect, was recently sidelined with a fractured right wrist, but was off to a red-hot start in 2014 before he suffered the injury. In just under 300 at-bats with the Winston-Salem Dash, Anderson was batting .297/.323/.472. Anderson is expected to return to the Dash at some point in early- or mid-August, at which point his quick bat and average to above-average raw power should see him continue to put up impressive numbers.
