When the Yankees spent $46 million to extract Kei Igawa from Japan they didn't believe they had a top-of-the-rotation lefty to counter Boston's signing of Daisuke Matsuzaka. But they would have expected a better big league showing than 2-4, 6.66 after two seasons.
