Diamondbacks, Reds Swap Prospects

Teams usually don't make trades during the playoffs, but the Diamondbacks and Reds did so on Friday. Arizona didn't figure to reinstate Double-A Southern League home run champ Jerry Gil to its 40-man roster this offseason, so it shipped him to Cincinnati for high Class A righthander Abe Woody. The Reds added Gil to their 40-man roster.
