- Click "Start" and select "Control Panel". (Note: With Windows XP Classic View click the Windows "Start" button and select "Settings" and "Control Panel").
- Open the "Internet Options" icon.
- Click the "General" tab if it isn't selected already.
- Click the "Delete" button.
- In the "Delete Browsing History" dialog box, check the box next to "Temporary Internet files"
- Click the "Delete" button
- Click "OK" to exit

- Select "Clear Recent History..."
- When a dialog appears, select "Everything" from the "Time range to clear:" drop-down.
- At the bottom of the dialog box, there should be "Details" with an arrow button pointing up. If the arrow button is pointing down, click the arrow button to display a list.
- From the list, make sure "Cache " is checked.
- Click "Clear Now"
