Of the 1,215 players selected in the 2014 MLB First-Year Players draft, 32 are alumni of Major League Baseball’s diversity programs such as Reviving Baseball In Inner Cities (RBI), the MLB Urban Youth Academy and the Breakthrough Series.

Some players, you will notice, attended multiple programs.

Among the players, the highest drafted of the 30 are N.C. State lefthander Carlos Rodon, who went third overall to the White Sox. Rodon attended the Breakthrough Series, as did other first-rounders such as Touki Toussaint (No. 16 overall, Diamondbacks); Luis Ortiz (No. 30, Rangers) and Justus Sheffield (No. 31, Indians).
