Seven teams have already advanced to the NCAA Super-Regionals, but up to now being a No. 1 seed hasn’t been a big advantage.
Three No. 1 seeds have advanced as have three No. 2 seeds and one No. 3 seed. No. 1’s Arizona State, Ole Miss and Rice have moved on. No. 2’s Cal State Fullerton, UCLA and Mississippi State have also advanced, while No. 3 seed Oklahoma State is the Cinderella team among those that have already ensured they’ll be playing next weekend.
