North Carolina stayed perfect by sweeping through the Astros Foundation College Classic in Houston and remained No. 1 in the Baseball America College Top 25 rankings. While the Tar Heels and Vanderbilt held serve at Nos. 1 and 2, this week saw the season's first movement in the top five. Previously third-ranked Arkansas took a hard fall following an 0-4 showing at the Coca-Cola Classic in Arizona, including a pair of losses to Arizona State, as the Razorbacks dropped all the way to No. 16. Mississippi State moved up to No. 3, followed by Oregon State and Louisville rounding out the new top five.<br/>

2013 Preseason College Top 25 Rankings

North Carolina is No. 1 in Baseball America's preseason Top 25 rankings for the first time in program history. The Tar Heels, who have made five trips to the College World Series in the last seven years, return three weekend starters who posted sub-2.00 ERAs last year, headlining one of the nation's deepest pitching staffs.

Final 2012 College Top 25

Arizona completed a perfect 10-0 run through the NCAA tournament to win its first national title since 1986 and finish atop Baseball America's final Top 25 rankings. The Wildcats were ranked No. 5 in the preseason and never dropped below No. 14, where they sat for two weeks in May. They entered the NCAA tournament with a No. 13 ranking, then caught fire in the postseason. The Wildcats last topped BA's rankings on March 10, 2008.
