College Coaching Carousel

Nineteen Division I baseball programs have changed head coaches this spring and summer, a number that is on par with the typical yearly turnover.

The most high-profile job to change hands was at Arizona State, where Tim Esmay was forced to resign after five years and replaced by Tracy Smith.

The Indiana head coaching job that Smith left behind was another of the major prizes this offseason, and it went to Louisville assistant Chris Lemonis.

East Carolina (which hired Ole Miss hitting coach Cliff Godwin) and Tulane (which tabbed former Sam Houston State head coach David Pierce) were the other most notable changes in 2014.

We will continue to update the chart below as the summer unfolds.
