Bring home the gold! Congrats to Nate Field.

no buster posey, huh? interesting……….

Pedro Alvarez rules.

Um, two outfielders? I hope it’s a groundball staff…

The original roster on the World Cup 2009 site had Angels CF Peter Bourjos listed on the roster, but he’s not on the team. I expect they’ll add another outfielder and use one of their infielders in the outfield as well.

Team USA announced the addition of Buck Coats today.

Daniel McCutchen has been taken off the roster by the Pirates management because of their need for a sixth man in the rotation this last month of the season. He will be replaced by one of the Pirates top prospects Brad Lincoln who is currently at AAA Indianapolis.

I agree, Mike, Pedro Alvarez does rule!

The Rays blew it selecting Beckham over Pedro….
